Dounne would love to raise awareness for the charities she supports below...

Joining Hands in Health.

working in partnership with

.'ACLT' - promoting bone marrow & blood donation.

ACLT is a voluntary charity, whose main aim is to increase the number of Black and Mixed Parentage people on the UK Bone Marrow Register. The members of ACLT freely volunteer their time in attempting to raise awareness in the Black community; enabling potential donors to come forward and be involved in the process of offering hope and a healthy future to someone whose disorder may otherwise prove fatal.

The likelihood of finding a matching donor is considerably greater from donors of the same ethnic background. A simple blood test will put you on the confidential register and if you match with a patient you will be selected for further blood tests.

If you are of Afro Caribbean or mixed race decent, please help maximise the chance of other Leukaemia suffers getting a donor match quickly by registering here today

.'The Rainbow Trust'

RAINBOW TRUST's
two respite houses in Surrey and Northumberland provides a break for the whole family, allowing them to spend precious time together as a family.

Rainbow Trust's Family Support Workers join the family in their own home and are there to provide whatever practical support is needed. They may attend hospital appointments with parents, sit by the bedside of the sick child to give parents a break and take worried siblings out for the day. The Rainbow Trust also supports families for as long as they need them from diagnosis, through the the illness and beyond.
