On 7th September, I was honoured to attend and speak at The Smart Years Exhibition - the first ever exhibition aimed at encouraging and promoting the skills, wisdom and talents of the over 50s within the workplace and wider community.

We were all blessed with a day of sumptuous weather and met so many wonderful people. Various organisations (including Age Concern and Sainsbury's) were present to inspire, empower and educate - what I can only describe as the nations forgotten age group - further demonstrating the need for The Smart Years. Our stand displayed a wonderful selection of Gramma's products alongside simple foods for visitors to taste - this saw people literally begging for more! We also introduced our 'Joining Hands in Health' awareness campaign to the event and would like to thank everyone who contributed their hand-tracings and donations for our charities.

CONGRATULATIONS! - to Elaine Beresford, who's hand-tracing and £1 donation won her the 'Gramma's gift box' worth £45!
