This year has been very exciting to say the least, so sit back,
chill out, while I share my 2007 with you....

The year started off with a real BANG - 2 weeks after
my 58th birthday, I was honoured by the Queen with the MBE Medal
for outstanding services to the British Food Industry. Visiting
Buckingham Palace once again, with all its splendor and history,
is always a jaw dropping experience and this time around was
no exception. .

10th February -
Leaving the daunting task of refurbishing the factory behind to trusty
workmen, the excitement continued the following day, when I flew out
with my family to the Caribbean islands of Trinidad & Tobago.
Once there, I dusted off the cobwebs of winter and reveled in the
carnival festivities. But it wasnt all play, as I put time aside
to tend to my herb garden and visit our beautiful land in Erin. Situated
in an extraordinarily peaceful and picturesque spot, where I soon
hope to build Grammas first healing sanctuary and invite everyone
to holiday, to be pampered, rest and rejuvenate. Erin is a truly magical
place and I cant wait to get started!

1st October - 20th Anniversary.
We will be celebrating 20 years in business and my late Grammas
birthday - in whose loving memory Grammas is named. As a mark
of respect, I have always celebrated this day every year, since she
passed in 1962. This year, Im planning an extra special treat
for the Grammas team, who (as you may have witnessed), works
extremely hard. Therefore, please forgive them if they sound a little
tipsy on the phone!

Woman of the Year Awards:
Soon after my return to the UK in February, I learned that Id
been selected to attend the Woman of the Year Awards,
which was of course, a wonderful surprise. The Woman of
the Year committee invites 400 of the highest achieving
British women from all over the UK. Specially invited guests
in the past have included the likes of Victoria Beckham, the
Duchess of York and Lorraine Kelly, so watch out for me on GMTVs
(LK Today).
