February 2006:- Helen was given less than one month to live... diagnosed with breast cancer, Parkinson's disease, stroke and failing Pancreas.

- Helen's story:

February 2006, Helen - previously diagnosed with 2 strokes, deteriorating pancreas, Parkinson's disease, tumours in both breasts... was advised by her doctor that one had grown too large and should be removed immediately, otherwise she would not survive the month. However, due to the dangers of anesthetics at her age - surgery could also be fatal. Not feeling strong enough to undergo such a major operation, Helen returned home; sold her car to pay for her funeral; broke the news to family and friends and prepared for the inevitable. Having previously read about Dounne Alexander's work and her health giving herbal-tea, she decided to try it. Almost immediately, her health began to improve. Fifteen months on (May 2007), doctors were baffled by her improvements and sent Helen for x-rays and scans. The results stunned them. Helen's tumours had all disappeared, plus her pancreas and Parkinson's was now under control and her heart very strong. We are now compiling all of our research results to provide as evidence for the Government. These will help convince them to partner ongoing scientific research… so that Zara’s tea can be made available in hospitals nationwide by 2010. We need solid evidence as back-up.

Another important factor is that the EU is working hard to ban many natural herbs. This has seen herbs such as Kava Kava being banned from the European market. If this continues, many of the herbs I am using for my products could be at risk, which would be absolutely devastating, especially for Zara’s Herbal tea, as their effectiveness would be seriously compromised. Also, very soon all health companies will have to have written evidence that their products work - (even if its efficacy has been widely documented and used for centuries) – again, if we don’t - we run the risk of having production stopped.
